The Ottawa University Musical Theatre course serves to introduce students to a variety of musical theatre productions in the pre-golden, golden and postgolden ages of musical theatre. DECA Haunted Hike

This year marked the second annual DECA Haunted Hike 5k event, which is organized by the OU student DECA group. The event took place Saturday, October 6, with proceeds benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Matt Bollig family. Bollig, an OU transfer student and Braves quarterback, suffered a spinal cord injury in a weight room incident during a summer workout with the Braves football team. Ottawa University hosted motivational speaker Nick Scott ’05 on December 4th in the Fredrikson Chapel. Following his presentation, Scott also met with students in the Mowbray Union throughout the day. Scott, who lives in Ottawa, was paralyzed at the age of 16 after a near-fatal car accident, but refused to let his circumstances get the best of him.
