OU- Wisconsin Initiates Alumni Awards
Posted by cservaes on March 03, 2012 in Alumni, Events, Wisconsin tagged with alumni, WisconsinOU-Wisconsin alumni gathered in the fall for the first annual Wisconsin Alumni Association Awards Celebration, hosted at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Willie G. Davidson, grandson of co-founder William A. Davidson, provided a private tour for guests prior to the ceremony. Alumni Board President Carla Rutley delivered opening remarks before Dr. Wade Mauland, campus executive, honored the award winners.
Joe McGraw of Krones Inc. was presented the Volunteer Service Award; Diane Sexton of The Brewer Company was presented the Ambassador Award; and Kathleen Madden, clerk of courts for Waukesha County, was presented the Outstanding Achievement Award.
Craig Scheifelbein, CEO of Paragon Development, was the keynote speaker at the event and spoke on how professionals can elevate their careers and strategically impact the world around them to lead lives of significance.
Assurant Health, HB Performance Systems, Harley-Davidson, and VioSano were sponsors of the event, which raised money for future scholarships for students at Ottawa University.
